Sample-based electronic band Pool Cosby are back with a new single “Lookin Up” this week. Featuring vocals by valentein, the track once again demonstrates why these guys are so unique. Their music is a little bit of everything, with a smooth mix of R&B, hip-hop, electronic and pop. Producer Jacuzzi Jefferson, violinist Kevin Kuh and drummer Otto Botté have honed in on a sound they can call their own. “Lookin’ Up” precedes their forthcoming album due out this summer featuring a blend of hip-hip and pop, paired with live strings, brass and woodwinds, and an eclectic list of featured artists including legendary rapper Raekwon (Wu-Tang Clan) and Adrianne Lenker.
