Introducing Blinders. Another 21 Year Old Producer
While he may only be a twenty one year old, Blinders‘ interpretation of house music isn't the usual, “Sound Cloud amateur hour” that many young producers are sadly upheld to.
Both a producer and a DJ from Poland, Blinders garnered quite the attention upon release of his epic single “Sirene” (released in 2014) achieving more than 1.2 million plays on Spotify!
Being released on Protocol Recordings' Miami 2015 compilation, alongside Tom Tyger with “Luminate”, and of course his newest release, “You Don't Know”, the young Polish man has gathered even more attention -including ours.
The track begins with a strong percussive beat that reminds us of a hard-hitting electro drop, but as with all electronic dance music these days, things just aren't that simple… The riffs are followed by a somewhat unexpected twist filled with modern funk vibes and grooves that put the track in a hybrid category. Most EDM can't be confined to one category anymore as, in the case of “You Don't Know”, tracks are flexible and energetic, making them equally playable in any dark room club or flashy festival MainStage. Having performed as a part of the Protocol ADE showcase last year, Blinders has made quite a name for himself on Nicky Romero's Label.
Furthermore, he had the prestige of mixing the 2016 Miami compilation together with Florian Picasso.
With plenty of generous support from dance floor heavyweights such as Hardwell, Tiesto, Pete Tong and Martin Garrix, “You Don't Know” is sure to be a fan favorite this season. And without a doubt, Blinders is certain to make 2016 his best year yet.
