HARD Summer Festival to Return to 18+ Admittance

Drug Overdoses Brought Sober Second Thought.

Drugs, a dangerous yet integral part of rave culture were the cause of numerous deaths in 2015.

One of the more noteworthy cases happened at last year's HARD Summer 2015, involving the deaths of two individuals.

As a result the events company went back to the drawing boards with a sober second thought. To prevent further tragedies from taking place in the future, HARD implemented a stockade of new regulations and policies. Including but not limited to, making electronic music festivals “safer” for concert goers.

Furthermore, the city of Los Angeles had recently made a proposal which which would have effectively banned electronic music concerts themselves.

In lieu of this, HARD beefed up their security, added an attendance cap, and most importantly- raised the minimum age of attendance from 18+ to 21+.

Luckily for EDM fans across LA, the added security measures were effective.

Return of 18+ Tickets?

But what about those young EDM fans? What about those first time concert goes itching to see their favourite artist?

You too are in luck, as according to Destructo himself, the new rule isn't permanent, and HARD will begin allowing 18 year olds admittance once more.

Not too official looking, but not illegitimate either.

It appears that the renewed confidence in the younger audience and revamped safety policies has brought the event company to loosen their grip on admittance.

So long as drugs are kept to a minimum, teens will be free to party HARD once more at the next festival this July: 30-31.
