Fresh to the public eye by way of Seattle, Washington, emerging artist Luem has created a powerful sound filled with a broad range of indie pop influences. Her ability to craft poetically diverse lyrics syncs up a range of melodies that slide effortlessly between genres and embrace the diversity in modern pop.
With a long history as a classically trained vocalist in various musical disciplines, and over six years of writing under her belt,Luem’s debut EP has been over two years in the making, but her experience in the very technical world of professional singing gives this project a voice that few others have. While various debut artists struggle to find a sonic identity, Luem has been condensing hers behind the closed, and has arrived at a finished product that is as developed as it is fun.
She pairs rhythmic beats and steady synths with ambient vocals, and although this is her first public solo release, Luemhides no intention of being done with music anytime soon.
