Congratulations to Sugarbeats!

The Oregon duo is on fire in 2015. Their “Groovy City Romance” EP is a fan favorite and after achieving their awesome Kistarter goal (that we shared), a new album is in the works – which they are in the process of completing as we speak. We're proud to share that they've also won the “Opiuo – Life” Remix Competition via Westwood Recordings – announced this week!

“Life” was a hit track on Opiuo's latest album, Meraki (featuring Gift of Gab & Syreneiscreamy), Co-presented by Canada's acclaimed Shambhala Music Festival.

There were hundreds of submissions worldwide and five made the cut – earning an official release on Westwood Recordings. Sugarbeats took the top prize with runner-ups Toby Emerson, Crazy Daylight, N-Jin, and Ketatonic Dub. As grand prize winners, Sugarbeats receives plenty of prizes including new equipment and .
