Reija Lee has provided the vocals to so many of my favorite songs throughout the years. When I saw her name on this remix of “Hold Me Down” by Fool's Gold artist Nick Cathdubs I was drawn to take a listen. I had absolutely no idea who Nick Catchdubs was prior to this release, but I have absolutely become a new fan of his music. He provides a remix to “Hold It Down” by Paces infused with some great energy and absolutely dope break downs. Nick Catchdubs compliments Reija Lee's amazing voice with the perfect amount of a vibey, distinct, and playful trap style. The myriad of creative sounds and samples placed throughout the track and break down adds so much character and really elevates this song. Nick Catchdub's remix of “Hold It Down” is so unique and it will be stuck in your head after listening, just as it has been stuck in mine for the past few days.
