The career path of JayKode has been fun to watch – from a fun remix bootleg of an oldies classic to getting support on his Beyonce remix getting played out by Skrillex and more – it was only a matter of time before he forged a name to remember. Now, 2015 launches a new chapter with his debut EP and this – a free download release on Buygore. He'll also be releasing his first single with the label in June.
This new track called “Whoop!” is all the twerk you can handle – premiered today by Run The Trap. It's one of his first label releases ever… but based on the exposure he's received and the quality of his production, it feels like just another day in the trap world with a JayKode track floating around, waiting to shake things up.
