Verboten 001

The uniquely designed wood & mirrored nightclub introduces the Verboten Live series with Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons, a daring new project that utilizes all manner of brave new sounds; listen to their first single Lovers' Eyes (Mohe Pi Ki Najariya) released last year. Damian Lazarus, who played Verboten’s opening night, makes history once again with The Ancient Moons making their US debut at the club. Also performing live are San Francisco’s PillowTalk, manipulating pop melodies, classic R&B, soul and boogie into the loose rhythms of house music. Bedouin – composed of Brooklyn’s own Tamer Malki and Rami Deejay – recently released their ethereal new EP ‘Whispering Words of Wisdom’ on Kindisch.  Verboten resident Carl Craig is described as a creative visionary, an electronic music icon, an esteemed Grammy-nominated composer, a world-class DJ and an ambassador for his native city Detroit.

As a thank you and to help celebrate the occasion, Verboten will also be launching a membership program for its regular customers, offering reduced admission to club nights, purchase rewards, and access to special events and merchandise. Stay tuned for more details to be announced!
