With a brand new EP on the way that will be released through Firepower, the presence that is TRUTH is as strong as ever. The bass duo are known for their unique and mind-blowing production, so their next release is likely to continue blowing fans away. Both Dre and Tristan have treated us to their musical guilty pleasures.
Dre:
1) TLC – “Scrubs”
Always loved the beat in this. It's a great song to drive to down the main strip with the stereo turned up and the windows down.
2) Snap – “Rhythm Is A Dancer”
The quintessential 90's dance anthem. This is the best track to play while getting ready before going out to rave.
3) Ace of Base – “All That She Wants”
You gotta love the Swedish. These guys definitely had an influence on me. This track reminds me of being at school and realising girls can actually be pretty fun to hang out with 😉
4) Daryl Hall & John Oates – “I Can't Go For That” (No Can Do)
Quite possibly my favorite ever tune, these guys are hit making legends and I love all their music. They've got style.
5) Guns N Roses – “Live And Let Die”
Originally by the Beatles, GnR take this to the next level… That guitar hook in the switch can not be beate
Tristan:
1) Oasis – “Wonderwall”
A classic singalong track filled with teenage memories from growing up in the UK. This was so popular I feel that in theory I should hate it, but don't.
2) Europe – “The Final Countdown”
So bad it's good. I think everyone must secretly love this track deep inside. Perfect for practicing air guitar moves to!
3) Britney Spears – “Toxic”
Really well produced and catchy. I still feel ashamed admitting I like it, though.
4) Tracy Chapman – “Fast Car”
This song brings out the emotions. It's just so sad, I have to sing along (and try to figure out that one bit where I just sort of mumble over the words).
5) Katy Perry – “Dark Horse”
I really shouldn't like this song, but shit, I live with a 5 year old girl and this blasts through my house on a regular, and it's pretty addictive. Katy Perry is so fucking weird, I guess you gotta give her that.
