Harris Cole is a Chicago based producer, 18 years old, and the co-founder of the independent hip hop label, BLVNT Records. The label being run out of both Chicago and Ann Arbor, Cole is only one of 13 artists featured on the midwestern name. Harris released his EP album, “In My Dreams” a few days early for us, and after a friend recommended him, I was excited to dive into the album and see what fancied my style. The title of the album itself is perfectly fitting to the fantasy like state created by the majority of the tracks. My favorite, “Too Fine”, features the signature daydream, trance sound, but is embodied with a little more groove, breaking away from the traditional theme of the album.
