I'll have to agree with DJ Green Lanterns alternative name- The Evil Genius– given to him not only by his listeners, but his peers due to his master crafting skills. After hearing Funk Space Coaster only once, I admittedly deemed myself an avid follower of his. In this feel good jazzy single, Green Lantern hooks listeners by connecting the essence of “soul music” with today's dubstep style. The funky beat of the song is dominated by a strong voice, a collection of trumpets and is accompanied by a bit of trap for those who like to groove a bit harder.
