Beach Blanket Bingo Music Festival 2014

A music festival unlike any other is coming to the Jersey Shore. That’s right, Beach Blanket Bingo, an all day rager held on the beach is happening June 28th in Wildwood, New Jersey. What beats romping around on the warm sand listening to some of the hottest DJs in the EDM scene, while a cool ocean breeze tickles your body? Many festivals this summer are held in parking lots and fields, however nothing screams summer more than a party right on the beach.

Aside from the perfect venue, the lineup for Beach Blanket Bingo is stacked. Six extremely talented DJs will be spinning all day, including 12th Planet, Candyland, Cash Cash, Gladiator, LOUDPVCK, and Pegboard Nerds.

Wildwood isn’t exactly the first place that comes to mind when you think of a bass-heavy dance music lineup, but that’s part of what makes Beach Blanket Bingo such a fun one-off. It’s a boardwalk town built for cheesy arcade games and funnel cake, not six-figure sound systems, which means the crowd this year is getting something genuinely different from the standard field-and-porta-potty festival circuit. Six acts across a single day also means there’s no filler on this bill, every set is a headliner-caliber block, and the genre range from Cash Cash’s progressive house to Gladiator’s trap to Pegboard Nerds’ heavy dubstep means the sound is going to shift hard throughout the day without ever dipping in energy.
