I had the great pleasure of attending The Glitch Mob‘s stellar performance last Saturday in the wonderful atmosphere of the Fillmore Auditorium. After three long years the trio has finally gone back on tour and I can say for sure that it was worth the wait for this show. The new stage setup is elaborate and mystifying, specifically the massive LED drums with their even more massive sound. The Glitch Mob hit the audience with a great set with a great balance of new and old tracks that got us all riled up in the best possible way. The percussive madness of this show honestly sets a new standard for live electronic music, one that is extremely exciting and vastly more entertaining than many DJ sets you'll see today.
The energy in the building was extremely high and as soon the The Glitch Mob hit the stage, it was a frenzy on the floor. The crew got down and dirty and threw down one of my favorites, their remix of Derezzed, which you can see below.
As you can see, the new lighting setup is stellar and really keeps up the vibe that the group emanates and keeps everyone raging. The Love Death Immortality tour should not be missed by anyone so I highly suggest attending your local show when they come through. The 2014 mix of their track ‘West Coast Rocks' is a new addition to their sets and is a true banger that they've mixed especially to fit in with the new show. Listen below to get hyped up for your chance to see one of the coolest and most talented group of artists around.
Here you can see the whole crew who came to give their love to The Glitch Mob! You can be a part of one of these pictures by hitting up one of the upcoming shows listed below where you will surely have an incredible experience. Go, enjoy the new tour, and hope that we don't have to go another three years without one, that is unless it brings another great revamp of an already amazing show.
