Dutch progressive house duo Quintino and MOTi have finally dropped the free download of their long-awaited team-up remix of “Blow,” the Laidback Luke and Martin Solveig anthem that’s been tearing up festival mainstages since it hit in the summer of 2013. If you’ve been refreshing SoundCloud waiting for this collab to surface, the wait is officially over.
For anyone who somehow missed the original, “Blow” is the kind of big-room electro house record built for the exact moment right before a drop — call-and-response vocals, a build that never lets up, and a groove tailor-made for a headliner set. Quintino and MOTi didn’t bother reinventing the wheel here. Instead of tearing “Blow” apart and starting over, this remix keeps the original’s DNA fully intact and cranks the energy up several notches right out of the gate, layering in a punchier low end and pushing the intensity so it hits even harder on a packed floor. Basically: same anthem you already love, way more adrenaline.
