Prepare for your new favorite collaboration… If any of you haven't heard of Tom Swoon, or the duo that is Lush & Simon, then here's your chance to kill two birds with one stone!!! They both uploaded their new upcoming track “Ahead of Us” to their Soundclouds today. After giving it a listen, I felt it extremely necessary to share it with the EDM Sauce Community.
Beginning with bliss-ridden vocals, followed by the introduction of violins and an acoustic guitar, the song takes you on a melodic journey by intertwining both song and speech ever so delicately to create what I believe is a fantastic new track. With Swoon making a huge splash with “Wings“”, and Lush & Simon's surprise smash hit “City of Lights,” the teaming up of these two progressive powerhouses seem almost too good to be true. While it's only a preview, the 1:45 they gave us got me beyond excited for it's official Beatport release on March 10th by Ultra Records. Take a listen, and enjoy!
