The Times Union reported that MCP Presents missed submitting a post-event report to the local authorities by the September 1st deadline. Having failed to do so sparked controversy in the local community of Mariasville, NY. The town voted to have an investigation done to see if the festival was conducted within the local ordinances. The chairwomen of the township board, Sandra Scott has said the event was not yet approved for 2014 at the Indian Look Out Country Club. While The Disco Biscuits have not released anything official on the issue, Marc Brownstein, the bassist for the band, posted on Facebook:

“The short answer is, yes, we are planning on having a camp this year, but there are some significant changes being made, and our number one priority is providing a safe event for our fans. We are hustling like crazy to make it happen and we have made huge progress in the last few weeks, and I'm feeling really good about it.”

While the future of Camp Bisco is still uncertain it is clear that the band is working diligently with MCP for the best possible outcome for both their loyal fans and festival attendees. It looks like Camp Bisco will most likely not be returning to Indian Look Out Country Club for an 8th year. Read the Times Union article below:
