During the European Festival Award which took place yesterday at Groningen's De Oosterport in Holland, Daft Punk picked up the prize for Best Festival Anthem for their hit track “Get Lucky.” Not only did this award festival hand out prizes to artists, but they also gave awards to the festivals themselves. Overall Germany won with the best German festivals as they picked up five awards in total: Best Indoor Festival (Metal Hammer Paradise), Best Line Up (Berlin Festival), Lifetime Achievement Award (Mark Lieberberg), Best Medium-Sized Festival (Melt! Festival) and Promoter Of The Year (FKP Scorpio).
