Krewella & Headhunterz Release ‘United Kids Of The World’ Music Video

Headhunterz has released the music video for his collaboration with Krewella, ‘United Kids Of The World’, on Ultra Music Records YouTube Page. The single, which was released last Tuesday, hit #1 in the Dutch iTunes Dance chart (in one day) and is currently at the #1 spot the Beatport hard dance charts less than a week from its release. Before the official release of the music video, Headhunterz & Krewella released a 40 second trailer which you can check out below.
This is not your average EDM Music Video, it digs deeper by taking a look at some potential use cases for the inspirational, anti-bullying message, including some Twitter hate messages directed at Krewella themselves. It offers a glimpse into the daily struggles people face in a time where bullying is so prominent and trying to put an end to bullying. Check out the music video along with the trailer below.

This collab is a pretty interesting pairing when you think about it — Headhunterz, the Dutch hardstyle icon known for hands-in-the-air euphoric drops, teaming up with Krewella, the Chicago trio that had already crossed over hard into festival mainstage territory. ‘United Kids Of The World’ splits the difference nicely, keeping enough hardstyle DNA in the production to satisfy Headhunterz’s core fanbase while giving Krewella’s vocals room to carry a genuinely uplifting, singalong chorus. It’s the kind of track built to soundtrack a massive crowd moment, and judging by the chart numbers, it found its audience almost immediately.
What really sets this release apart, though, is the video itself. Rather than the usual festival-footage montage or performance clip, Headhunterz and Krewella leaned into the song’s message and built something with actual weight behind it, pulling real examples of online harassment into the visuals. Krewella in particular have talked openly in the past about the hate they’ve received online just for being women in a male-dominated scene, so seeing them fold that experience directly into the video makes the anti-bullying angle feel personal rather than like a tacked-on PSA.
With the single already topping charts in the Netherlands and on Beatport’s hard dance chart within days of release, ‘United Kids Of The World’ looks like it’s shaping up to be one of the bigger crossover hardstyle moments of the year. It also arrives at an interesting point for Headhunterz, who has been one of the genre’s most vocal ambassadors for pushing hardstyle beyond its usual audience and into the broader EDM conversation — a collaboration with an act as mainstream-friendly as Krewella fits right into that mission.
Give both the full video and the trailer a watch above, and let us know what you think of the message these three are pushing. Considering how quickly this one is climbing the charts, don’t be surprised if ‘United Kids Of The World’ ends up as a recurring anthem in both artists’ sets for a long while.
