Fan Discovered A Sample Daft Punk Used 20 Years After The Song Was Released

Twenty years ago, Daft Punk debuted their album Homework. The album was pushed the boundaries of electronic music and changed the industry in an instant. To date, Homework is labeled as one of the most influential albums of all time.

Over the past two decades, Daft Punk‘s fans have been researching different samples used from Daft Punk's album. “Fresh” had still been a mystery though. Twenty years since its release, r/NCorpmusic who produces under the name N O R I A finally discovered the origin of “Fresh.”

Apparently, the sample used in Daft Punk's single is a bar from Viola Willis' “If You Leave Me Now.” Take a listen below and compare for yourself.
