Bassnectar Reveals Tons of New Information On What 2017 Will Look Like

Holy Basshead Batman. Today the inter-webs are buzzing as famed electronic legend and sometimes center of controversial topics Bassnectar has released his plans for the upcoming calendar year. With his recent announcement and then dully noted sellout of his curated event in Atlantic City, NJ in April, bassheads have already been treated to a major Bassnectar family dream mirroring the two night run he played in Atlanta, GA which garnered praise from all of the fan base that had the privilege to attend. It seems now, that the fans who can't get enough of the man himself will be treated to so much more before the year is over.

Starting, Bassnectar opened up about the many projects and releases he has coming out over the course of the year. Specifically citing releases on labels such as Owsla, Spinnin', and Monstercat, he is set to work alongside producers such as ATLiens, Buku, and Dirtyphonics. On top of that, there are more TBA releases which he has generated hype about citing work with NoisiaDorfex Box, as well as two new overarching aliases (possibly) with producers G Jones and Sayr respectively. The project with Sayr seemed to intrigue us the most as Lorin explained that the project would feature more old school down tempo sounds.

If there wasn't already enough for you in this announcement Nectar also cited the expansion of the Basshead Ambassador program as a focus for the year, as well as the next installment of the Dollar Per Basshead program in order to give back to the community even further. If you can't make Atlantic City, have no fear! Ashton also has intrigued fans in this announcement by speaking of a something “ridiculously special” for ATL again at the end of the year, as well as an expansive 3-day Basscenter event that is set to be even larger than last year's festivities in Colorado.

We couldn't be more happily overwhelmed today and are even more excited to hear more about the projects for which Nectar has revealed little information. Make sure to stay locked to our site for more News from Bassnectar as it is released!
