Fulton County Commissioner Welcomes TomorrowWorld Back For Another 8-10 Years

Commissioner William Edwards of Fulton County, Georgia received heavy praise from members of the board for his leadership and initiative in bringing the first ever TomorrowWorld Festival to the small southern Georgia town.

September 27-29 introduced America to a new chapter of the widely known and hugely successful Tomorrowland Festival held annually in Belgium. The event attracted nearly 150,000 people from over 100 countries worldwide.

The theme of the festival was closely related to the “Book of Life” theme that Tomorrowland is known for, with magical, fantastical sights at every turn. The particular town was chosen for its resemblance to the venue in Belgium, in order to recreate the same vibe and atmosphere.

With the magnitude of this event, unimaginable benefits were gained by Fulton County. Just the global recognition that the town earned for hosting the event was a major deal. Besides that, thousands of residents of the county were hired as vendors, security, medical support, stage hands, etc. In various ways, TomorrowWorld brought money to Fulton County unlike they had ever seen from a single event.

The inaugural edition of the event was considered a complete success from all angles, with very few medical emergencies, noise complaints and arrests. The board of commissioners and the festival's promoters agreed to a contract that will bring TomorrowWorld back to Fulton County for another 8-10 years, which will undoubtedly be mutually beneficial for all parties involved.
