If you’ve been anywhere near a rave in the last few years, you’ve probably felt Sara Landry before you even knew her name. The Sausalito, California-born DJ and producer has become one of the defining voices in hard techno, building a sound she describes as dark, driving, and industrial — the kind of ritualistic low end that’s built to hit you in the chest.

Landry got her start DJing while she was in school in New York City, then cut her teeth in Austin’s club scene before her 2018 debut single “Chasm” put her on the map. She signed with deadmau5’s Mau5trap in 2019, a move that gave her sound a much bigger platform. But it was her 2023 Boiler Room set that really blew things wide open — the video became one of the most-watched sets of the year, racking up millions of views and introducing a whole new wave of ravers to her corner of techno.

In 2021, Landry launched her own label, Hekate Records, named after the Greek goddess of witchcraft — a fitting name for a label built around dark, atmospheric techno from both established names and up-and-comers. She’s since become Beatport’s top-selling female producer in the genre and cracked DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list, all while relocating her home base to Amsterdam in 2022.

Landry’s collaborations read like a who’s-who of the current hard techno wave — tracks with Don Woezik and Godtripper, plus remix work that’s pulled from outside dance music entirely, including flips of tracks by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion. Live, she’s become a mainstay at the biggest stages in the world, from Tomorrowland to EDC Las Vegas, and she linked up with Amelie Lens for a back-to-back set at Ultra Miami in 2026 that had the techno crowd losing it.

With her Eternalism tour running through 2025 and 2026, Sara Landry isn’t just riding the hard techno wave — she’s one of the artists who built it. Expect the intensity, the theatrics, and the relentless low end to keep climbing from here.
