Rave Jesus isn’t a gimmick account or a one-off single — it’s the current chapter of a guy named Topher Jones, who spent over a decade grinding as a mainstream EDM producer and DJ (performing under names like King Arthur and King Topher) before flipping the script entirely. We’re talking a real resume here: north of 200 million Spotify streams, co-signs and support from Diplo and Tiësto, sets on the Tomorrowland main stage, and deals with majors like Republic and Interscope. So when he says he’s not new to this, he means it.

The Rave Jesus project didn’t start as a marketing plan. Back in 2018, Jones started a weekly prayer call with friends in the music industry, just people in the scene talking about faith and dance music in the same breath. That informal group grew into a real community during the pandemic, and eventually Jones felt pulled to turn it into an actual artist project, even though he knew leaning into “Christian” this openly could cost him credibility in rooms he’d spent years building trust in.

He went for it anyway. In November 2025, he dropped his debut album I Met God on the Dancefloor, packed with remixes of worship staples from Brandon Lake and Elevation Worship alongside collaborations with Grace Binion, SON., and even Latin pop star Thalía. The rollout led to sold-out headline shows in LA, Dallas, Vegas, and London, and by April 2026 he was back with the single “Rave Revival” and a 22-date North American tour to match.

What separates Rave Jesus from typical “Christian music” is where he chooses to play. He’s not booking church basements — he’s playing clubs and independent venues, the same rooms his old mainstream sets used to fill, specifically to reach people who’d never set foot in a traditional church. He’s talked about watching real conversations and even conversions happen at his shows, and his stated mission is pretty simple: EDM is just another instrument, and it can be used to point at something bigger.

Love it or find it wild that it exists, Rave Jesus is a legitimately unique lane in the dance music world right now — a veteran producer using festival-grade production to bridge two scenes that almost never talk to each other.
