KETTAMA 

KETTAMA, real name Evan Campbell, came out of Galway, Ireland, and turned into one of house and techno’s most electric live acts almost by accident. His 2018 track “B O D Y,” off the Bucklyn Bridge EP, started getting spun by Mall Grab and fellow Irish DJ Annie Mac, and that early support was enough to put his name on the map fast.

Since then KETTAMA has built a sound that jumps between house, techno, and even trance textures without ever feeling scattered — it’s high-energy, a little chaotic, and completely unmistakable once you’ve heard it. In 2019 he co-founded G-Town Records with Shampain, giving himself a home base to push the raw, club-focused sound he’s known for, and he’s also released through Steel City Dance Discs.

KETTAMA doesn’t just make solo tracks either. He’s teamed up with Tommy Holohan for the Samba Boys project and linked with Partiboi69 for the aptly named KETBOI69, and he’s put his own spin on remixes for Calvin Harris, DMA’s, and Special Request — a pretty wild range that shows how much range he actually has behind the decks.

2024 and 2025 have been a serious step up. He made his debuts at Glastonbury, Coachella, and Boomtown in 2024, then followed it with a BBC Radio 1 Dance residency and his debut album “Archangel” in 2025. That album spun off “It Gets Better (Forever Mix),” which climbed to No. 37 on the Irish Singles Chart — a genuinely rare feat for a dance record built for the club rather than the radio. He also sold out a headline show at Brooklyn Steel in New York in late 2025, further proof his fanbase in the US has caught up with his profile back home.

KETTAMA is exactly the kind of artist who makes dance music fun again — unpredictable sets, no ego, and a genuine love for throwing curveballs into his shows. With “Archangel” out and momentum building on both sides of the Atlantic, he’s positioned as one of the more exciting names to watch heading further into 2026.
