Andrew Rayel — born Andrei Rață in Moldova — is proof that trance’s next generation was being built way earlier than most people realized. Classically trained and producing music from age 13, he launched his career properly in 2009 and got his real break when his single “Aether” earned Tune of the Week honors on Armin van Buuren’s “A State of Trance” radio show. That co-sign opened the door to ASOT stages worldwide and a deal with Armada Music, the label van Buuren himself co-founded.

From there Rayel built out a catalog that’s all about big, emotional, festival-scale trance. His debut album “Find Your Harmony” dropped in 2014, followed by “Moments” in 2017 with a full world tour behind it, and “Lifeline” in 2023. Along the way he’s linked up with genre heavyweights like Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Hardwell, and Dash Berlin, plus newer-school collaborators like David Gravell on “Trance Reborn,” Graham Bell on “Tambores,” and Haliene on “In The Dark.” His DJ Mag Top 100 climb tells the story too — he went from #77 in 2012 to #24 by 2014, and he’s been a fixture on the Ultra, Tomorrowland, and EDC lineups ever since.

In 2017 he started inHarmony Music, his own imprint, which has since evolved into the Find Your Harmony brand — now a full label, a live event series, and a weekly radio show that beams his sound out globally. He kept that release schedule busy through 2025 with tracks like “Acid On the Train,” “Promise Me,” and “Reverie,” and this year he’s kicked off what he’s calling a “bold new era” with “Chasing The Unknown,” the lead single off his upcoming album EXTASIA. It’s got the soaring melodies and dramatic builds trance heads expect from him, but with a sharper, more high-energy edge — a sign he’s still pushing his sound forward well over a decade into his career.

For a genre that lives and dies on emotional payoff, Andrew Rayel remains one of its most reliable architects — still chasing that next big drop with the same hunger he had as a kid producing beats in Moldova.
