Ever listen to artist early in their career, knowing they will soon do great things? That's how I feel listening Folded Dragons' first release, a remix of “Six Ft” by Alaina Cross. This track is a banger, and the young producer clearly has the chops needed to break out into the mainstream. Fans of Zedd and Awoltalk definitely should take a listen to this one.
Alongside his obsession with creating origami dragons, the DJ painstakingly crafts a huge sound behind Alaina Cross' powerhouse voice, with infectious beat patterns that are both intricate and danceable. I'm curious to see what Folded Dragons will come out with next. For now, this solitary track will have to do.
