Zedd has announced on Twitter that his smash hit single with Alessia Cara, ‘Stay' has just gone double platinum. This means that the track has been sold over 2 million times since it's release. It is only the second time in Zedd's career he has reached the honor, the first being his radio hit ‘Clarity'.
Going platinum in the digital age of streaming is no easy task. More fans are looking to streaming services to listen to new music. This makes the accomplishment of selling a track over a million times that much more difficult. Congratulations to Zedd for yet another massive accolade.
