Elephunk, otherwise known as Dylan Karakas, left his desert home to pursue a career in music production with nothing more than the clothes in his trunk. After graduating Icon Collective and living out of his car on and off for the next 4 years, he created a sound true to his frequency and genuine to his emotions. Elephunk's music brings a nostalgic feel of older dance music, especially for a 22 year old, but he brings a new twist. Elephunk stampedes through obstacles and fears nothing. He flawlessly flips this beautiful original by Barclay Crenshaw while staying true to the original. The breakdown is almost euphoric leaving you in a trance but building into a bass slapping house drop. Showing his diversity, Elephunk introduces a knocking trap style breakdown before rebuilding into a house variation for the second drop. Really excited to hear more from this guy in the future.
