If you have yet to come across up and coming Los Angeles based producer Pasdat, today is the day you experience what you have been missing. Pasdat revealed his new single Swishers today and it is an absolute banger along with every other tune on his Soundcloud.
After making his start in Philly's electronic dance music scene, Pasdat took flight out West to The Land of Milk and Honey to make his dreams come true and he is doing nothing short of that. With less than 10k followers on Soundcloud, he has over 350,000 plays collectively between his now 6 original productions available to the general public, and I have to say Swishers is his best work yet. He has a very refined sound that keeps getting better and better with each new production, from the sound design to the overall general effect of the tune, it is safe to say Pasdat is on the up and up.
Swishers holds a sample with the very familiar vocal “Rollin' up swishers rollin' up rollin' up”, recognizable by a good number of those who have been listening to dubstep and trap for awhile. The combination of the vocals with the immaculate song writing skills that Pasdat displays is on a whole new level compared to a lot of artists in the game right now. Everytime I get my hands on a new Pasdat tune, I prepare myself to be completely blown away by the innovation and production quality that my ears are about to be blessed with.
