Watch Flume Play A What So Not Throwback On a Custom Mixer

So we all know that at one point in time Flume was part of What So Not. In the beginning the project consisted of Flume and Emoh Instead. When the Flume moniker started to really blow up, Harley decided to focus his attention on his solo project and respectfully left What So Not. Emoh Instead re-branded himself as What So Not and the rest is history.

The Falling Out

There has been a bit of drama between the two all stars. Flume used some old What So Not tracks for a teaser of his ‘Skin Companion EP' and things got a bit ugly. Emoh also tweeted out how little the Grammy awards mean right around the time Flume won the Grammy for Electronic Album of the Year. The two producers are incredibly talented both in their own right, so it is unfortunate some bad blood has formed.

Flume Throws It Back

We aren't sure if Flume was feeling nostalgic today or what, but he uploaded a few videos to his Instagram story playing an old What So Not tune, ‘Touched. He even is playing the track on a set up that seems to have been custom made for What So Not when both parties were part of the project. Regardless of his reasons for breaking out some throwbacks, it is always nice to hear some of the tasty classic WSN. Check out the videos below.
