After a brief hiatus in the beginning of 2017, the dynamic duo that is, Boombox Cartel, is back again with another banger of a track. After completely killing the game in 2016 and every festival they were booked at Boombox Cartel knew they had to come back with some heat to start off the new year and boy did they deliver with the release of ‘Jefe'.
‘Jefe' is nothing short of a banger. Pounding percussion and cascading synths start off the track before leading into the build up. Double-timed kicks and an insane vocal sample leads up to the climax of the track. The sound design is impeccable as always and the production is on point as ever. Both drops go hard and you have probably heard this tune being dropped in a set from you favorite DJ over the past few months. With this release, it is evident that the Cartel is back and is here to stay!
