Meet the Brains Behind Some of Your Favorite Dance Music Events

As the electronic dance music wave started to quickly spread across the United States, there were some figures who immediately found success within this recent widespread movement – banking on the massive popularity of the culture. One of these's figures is known to throw some of the celebrated events in dance music, from Decadence Arizona and Colorado to over 200 shows a year across the country.

Relentless Beats founder, Thomas Turner, is the leader behind some of the most popular dance music events to date. Started in Arizona in 1996, Relentless Beats took the dance music scene by storm quickly and is now the leading promotional company in the area. In his time, Thomas has booked nearly 400 artists within a year from some of the biggest names including Deadmau5 and Disclosure. Before Relentless Beats became what is is today, it started off as a small project amongst friends,

It started as a party brand to throw parties for my close friends in the late 90s. Next thing i know…

Thomas has made a huge impact on his local community, bringing the best in dance music right to Arizona and it's surrounding area's doorstep,

This keeps happening over and over right now. I think the thing that makes me most proud is the community I see around Relentless Beats. From the people we work with that treat this like family to the tens of thousands of people who attend our events doing the same. It feels amazing to make a positive difference and watch our community anticipate all of our events.

Relentless Beats has thrown hundreds of events celebrating specific holiday's over the past several years in some of the most unique settings in the country,

Crush has to be the one given its the longest running. I did the first one 9 years ago! However, Global which takes place in an 1880s western town is really special as is Phoenix Lights… being I’m a native Arizona is blessed with some of the best winter weather anywhere in the world and the city of Phoenix boasts amazing resorts, recreation, and great dining options as well.

With the massive growth that has come hand in hand with the success of Relentless Beats, Mr. Turner foresees even bigger plans for the future,

Over the next 5-10 years you see much of what we are doing grow a considerable amount, such as Global Dance Festival moving to 2 days. You will also see us introduce some new brands & concepts.

While events continue to grow, Mr. Turner himself is,of course, an enthusiastic fan of electronic music and his passionate about the culture he helps to create, his own personal favorite genre is house,

My favorite artists are house music acts like Sasha, John Digweed, James Zabiela, Guy Gerber, etc. The list is really long in fact as i really like all forms of electronic music.
