A report by NBC Miami states that Alex Omes, co-founder and co-owner of Ultra Music Festival, has passed away, according to friends.
Omes started Ultra Music Festival in 1999 with then-partner Russel Faibisch and was then pushed out of the festival ownership in 2010 after Ultra broke off WMC (Winter Music Conference).
Omes' cause of death is unknown at this time but his passing has been truly felt amongst the EDM scene. RIP, Alex.
