Deadmau5 decided to step away from the limelight recently. His decision came from a rant he made on a live stream that dated back to last January where he made some derogatory remarks towards Slushii. After a few weeks away from the stage and social media, Joel updated his fans that his European tour was to take place as scheduled, and over the weekend it kicked off with some impressive performances.
It seems that Joel's time away from the public's eye has done him some good. All the shows over the weekend in Spain and Germany went on without a hitch, and Mau5 seemed more focused on music than ever before. During his set in Berlin, Deadmau5 dropped a new unreleased tune that immediately caught the attention of the crowd.
The new track is a driving, melodic banger. It sounds like a hybrid of ‘Strobe‘ and ‘The Veldt' in short, and very well could be Deadmau5's next major hit. Take a listen below.
