Bass Center XI is taking place this weekend at the legendary Hampton Coliseum aka The Mothership. Bassheads from all over the country have made a pilgrimage to one of the holiest sites in all of Bass.
This weekend has been full of surprises, including new music, unbelievable visuals and so much more. Bassnectar took a chance during this evening to pay tribute to a musical legend which we have recently lost.
Aretha Franklin, one of the most important singer/songwriters of all time recently passed away. To pay tribute to her Bassnectar took the chance to play out a full song from Aretha Franklin to the honor the artist's lasting legacy on music as a whole. While Aretha obviously never made any music that could fall under the EDM umbrella, her influence reached into everyone niche and genre of music imaginable.
