After taking over the summer with his last collab “One Kiss”, Calvin Harris is back at it again with another MONSTER collab, this time with London superstar Sam Smith. The collab titled “Promises” is another sure fire radio smash using the same formula as “One Kiss”, powerful vocals and a super catchy funky house beat.
“Promises” starts off with Sam Smith's absolutely breathe taking vocals over the top of another catchy, yet downtempo UK House beat made my the master of the groove, Calvin Harris. This track is a little slower than “One Kiss”, but just as infectious. I absolutely love Sam Smith‘s vocals and find that he can do no wrong over the top of almost any beat, but this funky beat makes Smith's vocals absolutely POP.
