Two Feet is an up and coming producer with a style all of his own. He ability to fuse blues and funk alongside traditional electronic elements is nothing short of masterful. Today though, he gave his fan base a massive scare when he posted a suicide note to social media.
It started when Two Feet tweeted that he was using cigarettes to burn markings on his skin. Not long after he tweeted out a suicide note which thanked his fans and explained his frustrations about life.
EDM Community Comes Together
After several high profile suicides this year such as Avicii, Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade, many fans have become quite vigilant for warning signs on social media. As soon as Two Feet posted his note, fans immediately started to reach out. Other dance music websites such as EDM.com wrote an article to raise awareness and in hopes of getting a family member's attention.
Reddit quickly exploded with the article. Both /r/EDM and /r/Trap has multiple threads going about trying to get Two Feet help. Two Feet's father has confirmed that while his son is in the hospital – he is alive and safe. It is a beautiful thing to see our community come together to support someone who is struggling.
