The iHeartRadio Awards were tonight and two of EDM's most popular artists ended up bringing home so major honors. The Chainsmokers and Zedd were both nominated in several categories and each also ended up winning at least one.
Zedd defeated Kygo, Cheat Code, The Chainsmokers and Clean Bandit to take home Dance Song of the Year for his massive collaboration with Alessia Cara, ‘Stay'. It is well deserved as ‘Stay' found platinum status in 2017, and continues to find regular spins on radio stations all over the nation. ‘Stay' was truly one of the biggest tracks of 2017 in any genre, so congratulations to Zedd for receiving the well deserved award.
The Chainsmokers may have lost Dance Song of the Year, but brought home awards for Best Collaboration for ‘Something Just Like This' with Coldplay and Dance Artist of the Year. Congrats to The Chainsmokers, check out the artists tweeting about their victories below.
