KSHMR has talked at length about how his family has helped shaped his one of a kind production style. Growing up in California, the producer learned much about his Indian heritage from both his parents and grandparents. Soon that heritage started to be displayed in beautiful ways in his productions. KSHMR helped take traditional Indian melodies and musical elements to main stages all over the world. He was always quick to say his style is due one hundred percent to his family.
Today KSHMR announced the passing of his grandfather on social media. His grandfather or Dadaji, attended Ultra events all over the world and saw his grandson take his music to worldwide stages. Our thoughts and prayers are with KSHMR and his family in this difficult time.
