PROPER NYE Returns to Petco Park With Lane 8, Sara Landry and Green Velvet
FNGRS CRSSD's PROPER NYE/NYD returns to Petco Park December 31-January 1 with Lane 8, Sara Landry, Green Velvet, Cloonee and stage takeovers from This Never Happened and Daisy Chain.

San Diego’s biggest New Year’s party is officially back. PROPER NYE/NYD — December 31, 2026 through January 1, 2027 at Petco Park in San Diego — just dropped its first lineup, and the FNGRS CRSSD crew isn’t easing into it: Lane 8, Sara Landry, Green Velvet, Cloonee, Chris Lorenzo and Eli Brown lead the phase-one bill.

If you’ve never done NYE inside a Major League ballpark, that’s the whole pitch here: multiple stages spread across Petco Park while the clock runs out on 2026, then a full second day to do it all again on January 1. It’s the same team behind CRSSD Festival, so you already know the booking taste skews credible.
And this year’s phase one covers a lot of ground. Hard techno gets real estate with Sara Landry — who’s had a massive year, including that first-ever UK b2b with Amelie Lens — plus I Hate Models, Nico Moreno and Klangkuenstler. House heads get Green Velvet, Cloonee, Josh Baker, Odd Mob, SIDEPIECE, OMNOM, Westend and Ben Sterling. On the melodic side there’s Massane, Cassian, Qrion and Lane 8 himself, fresh off announcing his Fall Mixtape show at San Francisco’s Castro Theatre. Kettama and Beltran round things out for anyone who wants their garage and groovers.
Two stage takeovers are already confirmed: Lane 8’s This Never Happened imprint and the Daisy Chain crew will each host their own corner of the park. Given how This Never Happened’s no-phones policy tends to reshape a dancefloor, that stage alone might be worth the ticket.
Here’s your calendar, according to the announcement: alumni presale opens Tuesday, September 8 at 12 p.m. PT, the SMS community presale follows September 9 at 12 p.m., and general on-sale hits September 9 at 2 p.m. PT. GA and VIP passes will both be available with layaway payment plans, and registration runs through Laylo.
PROPER has quietly become one of the few American NYE events that books like a proper festival instead of a one-headliner cash grab. This phase one continues that streak — and there’s still more of the lineup to come. If you’re anywhere near SoCal and don’t feel like spending another December 31 in a sweaty warehouse, this is probably your move.
