Hardwell Signs With Armada Music Publishing in Major Catalog Move

Hardwell just made one of the bigger business moves of his career — and it lands him under the same roof as Armin van Buuren. The Revealed Recordings boss has signed with Armada Music Publishing, the publishing arm of the Armada Music Group, according to reports that surfaced this weekend.

Why does a publishing deal matter? Because publishing is where the long money in music lives. It covers the songs themselves — the writing credits behind every stream, sync placement, and remix — and for a producer with a catalog like Hardwell’s, that’s serious real estate. According to the reports, the deal brings anthems like “Spaceman” and “Apollo” along with his Rebels Never Die-era work into the Armada Music Publishing fold. If you’ve ever screamed the “Apollo” drop at a festival (you have), you’ve experienced this catalog firsthand.

The company he’s joining isn’t exactly a stranger, either. Armada was co-founded by Armin van Buuren, and its publishing division has been on an aggressive growth run — it expanded substantially after Armada’s Beat Music Fund picked up Amsterdam publisher Cloud 9 Music in 2024, and its writer roster already includes Armin himself, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and NERVO. Adding Hardwell puts a huge chunk of Dutch dance music history under one publishing umbrella. Two of the biggest DJs the Netherlands has ever produced, now on the same team sheet? That’s a fun sentence to type.

There’s history here, too. Hardwell and Armin have collaborated before — “Off The Hook” back in 2015, “Follow The Light” more recently — and the two have shared basically every mainstage on the planet at some point. This deal just makes the relationship official on the business side.

The timing tracks with everything else going on in Hardwell world right now. His 2026 has been busy on every front: a global touring run, the Revealed machine in full swing, and a two-for-two collab streak with W&W that just produced Friday’s big room heater “Bangkok”. Locking down the publishing side while the creative side is running hot is exactly the kind of move you make when you’re planning for the next decade, not the next festival season.

Neither camp has detailed the exact scope of the agreement yet — no word on whether it covers future works or just the existing catalog. But for a scene that’s watched catalog deals reshape the wider music industry over the past few years, this is dance music’s version of that story, and it won’t be the last one.
