Mountain Dew Ripped Off TNGHT’s Song In New Commercial

Copyright infringement isn't anything new in the music industry. In fact, Spotify was sued $2 billion for allegedly using 10,784 songs without the proper licenses. On a much smaller scale, Mountain Dew apparently used an identical copy of TNGHT's “R U Ready” in their commercial that aired during the BRIT Awards.

Hudson Mohawke of TNGHT captured the commercial and uploaded a clip to Twitter stating “Pay ur boys @MountainDew.”
