In a rare move, Porter Robinson is teaming up with iTunes for the future release of ‘Worlds 2' in 3044. Be sure to put it in your will to have it played at your gravestone because we know it is going to be a classic for sure…

Jokes aside, Porter issued this tweet after some backlash from his fans on the release of his latest project, Virtual Self. Virtual Self and the debut single ‘EON BREAK' sound like a tune that came straight from a Dance Dance Revolution game. For avid Porter fans, it is quite the departure from the melodic songs off of ‘Worlds'. All across the internet fans have had mixed reactions due to the release. Within the week of release, Porter tweeted about ‘Worlds 2' (ironically) coming out due to this division on the track.

Our takeaway on this is that too many people are trying to pigeonhole their favorite artists into making the same music they have always created. Artists change styles and sounds throughout the years and fans must grow with the changes. It is evident that Porter's has changed since the release of Worlds and we look forward to seeing what he comes out with in the future. And to all of the fans, let the artists be themselves and not a slave to your demands, their identity is there's alone and it always will be.

… but let's be real Divinity 2 is a banger!
