Last night Getter and Party Favor played Echostage in Washington D.C. for Halloween. The event which was at max capacity, was in very high demand as it was the best Halloween party the district had to offer. Fans were quick to notice something a little weird though when they were going through security.
Venue security were informing people that no Bassnectar merchandise or paraphernalia was allowed into the event as requested by the talent. This News obviously hit social media fast and hard. Needless to say, as with most things Bassnectar related, people were either quite pissed or found it hilarious.

Getter vs. Bassnectar?
Many say that Getter does not get along with Bassnectar but if we had to guess this is probably more about Getter trying to step away from an unfortunately toxic side of bass music. By forcing attendees to literally leave their fandom at the door, they had to focus entirely on the artists who were playing the event. It was an interesting tactic that was met with mixed emotions. That being said we kind of find it hilarious.
