If you haven't figure it out yet from  (God only knows) amount of articles we've written about a special little venue at the corner of 17th and Walnut St. in Philadelphia, we seem to have a favorite place to catch our shows here at EDM Sauce in the City of Brotherly Love. There are many special things that make Coda our preferred EDM destination in the land of the cheesesteaks, however above all of the fantastic production and smooth running shows, the artists they book for sure is what keeps us coming back. Their ability to bring artists that do not recycle the same sounds, feature diversity in their styles, and overall embody the talent and proper perpetuation that dance music has us smitten with love for this building. We just wanted to give a special shout out to them before we continue this piece, as the show we are about to introduce to you continues their wonderful path providing the highest quality of talent for the citizens of Broad St.

Now, back to business. This Thursday night, it seems that Philadelphia is going to be getting a major dose of club music from it's neighbor New Jersey. Jersey Club music combines aspects of dance floor style drum beats with heavy elements of hip-hop and R&B. Combined with the fantastic sexual flare that the Jersey Club community has latched onto, the genre is niche one, but in our opinion can provide some of the best electronic experiences for music fans.

If you know anything about Jersey Club, you probably have heard the name Trippy Turtle. Originally developed as a side project for future bass phenom Lido, the project has grown into a full fledged second career for the Norwegian producer. Citing originals and remixes with heavy influence and aspects of popular rap and R&B mixed in, the producer has created a massive discography of hits that bring joy to his fans all over the world. We'll probably laugh, cry, scream, dance, and do tons more this Thursday night, we don't expect any of you to be missing this.

Trippy Turtle does not tour very often, making this show quite the spectacle for his fans not only in Philadelphia, but also the rest of the East Coast. Tickets are (surprisingly) still available and are flying off the shelves at a rapid rate. Make sure to grab yours here before there are not left! We at EDM Sauce are very ready to get down to the sounds of Jersey with you all on Thursday night!

My name is Adam Leopold and I'm a contributor here at EDM Sauce. I love all genres, but my favorites are trance and dubstep. I love artists that dignify themselves from the pack through original content and a separation from the average sounds. If you can throw down a set I've never heard before, I'm instantly a fan. My favorite artists are Above & Beyond, Pretty Lights, and Bassnectar. I'm currently pursuing a Political Science degree at Temple University and am living in Philadelphia as well. My name on Facebook is Leo Adam, feel free to add me if you want to chat about anything music related or just to have another friendly face in the scene. I hope you all enjoy what I put out and am so grateful to be able to give to an industry that has given so much to me!
