Slushii sent out a tweet a few days ago that honestly has us more excited than anything he has announced in quite some time. The artist is known for his signature style of both deep emotion and forward thinking bass arrangements. Now though it seems that Slushii is gonna throw it old school a bit.

Slushii announced that he is going to be working on an EP which focuses on dance music of 2008-2011, or as we like to call it here at EDM Sauce, the golden era of EDM. This time frame marks the release of hits like ‘Calling' by Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso as well as Tiesto's iconic ‘Kaleidoscope' album. Bass music wasn't exactly suffering during those years either. Excision and Datsik still co-produced monster tunes and Rusko was continuing to shape the world of dubstep as we know it.

We cannot wait to hear what Slushii has in mind for this concept EP.
