Let me preface this by saying this genre is not typically my cup of tea. So that fact that I genuinely enjoy Zomboy's latest track is an accomplishment in of itself. Hold on to the grass when you listen to this one to make sure you don't accident fall into the sky. ‘Rotten' is a high energy, full frontal assault of all that is right in bass music today.
Zomboy gets a lot of credit for helping popularize what would become known as bro-step. Alongside artists such as Skrillex and Rusko, Zomboy's forward thinking productions helped created one of the largest trends EDM has even seen. ‘Rotten' continues to push the limits of what we have come to know in the world of bass music. This is a great track that will no doubt leave a crowd speechless. Never Say Die is floating on top of the world right now. Hater's aside – the label is absolutely killing it.
