Texas based bass artist, Crizzly, released a wild trap collaboration earlier today appropriately titled, “Crunk & Wired.” Fellow Texas native, Prismo, teamed up with Crizzly to blend their individual styles in order to create the aggressive head-banging track.
“Crunk & Wired” is only Crizzly’s second original release in 2016. The artist, who got his start djing parties and weddings in high school, didn’t start producing his own music until 2015. For being fairly new to the scene, Crizzly, has proven himself as a musician and performer. He has played at a variety of festivals including Ultra, Electric Forest, EDC, and Freaky Deaky.
Influenced by bass music and hip hop, Crizzly has spearheaded the “Crunkstep” genre with his heavy percussion and dirty drops. Both of these elements can be seen in “Crunk & Wired” where thug-like vocals intermix with a destructive bass beat. The party-anthem is also free to download through Soundcloud.
Confirmed to headline at Electric Forest, Shambhala, and Midlands Festival, Crizzly is undoubtedly going to continue perfecting his sound into the new year. Already having opened with Jauz on his Friendzy Tour this year, Crizzly will continue honing his performance skills by accompanying Datsik on his Ninja Nation Tour in 2017. Bassheads and trap lovers should keep their eye on the growing artist in the next year.
