Remember when we said Slushii’s having a breakout year? Last week, he shared some music from his archives. But this time, he’s back at it again with new music. And it’s coming to us in the shape and size of two separate collaborations under the label, Monstercat.
The 19-year-old producer took to reddit to share the big news. According to the Monstercat subreddit below, Slushii’s on the hook for two new tracks, both collaborations that are sure to be straight fire. First, he’s partnering with Laura Brehm, who’s a vocalist known for working with people like REZZ and Draper. He’s also mixing with Dion Timmer, who’s pretty much been everywhere Excision has the past year.
With the success of his last Monstercat release “Emptiness” it’s definitely a good sign that he’ll be releasing the tracks under the label. Monstercat is also known for representing people like Seven Lions, Pegboard Nerds and Slushii’s BFF, Marshmello.
Personally, I’m pretty amped for both collabs. Knowing what both of these guys are capable of, Slushii x Dion Timmer will most likely have humming bass lines you can’t help but vibe to. I’m also guessing we’ll have a pretty incredible future bass track accompanied by Brehm’s extraordinary vocals with the Slushii x Laura Brehm collaboration.
No news as to when the releases will drop, but they’re coming. Stay tuned into us to get a first listen to the tracks once they hit. He’s also on tour through the end of the year, so if you haven’t already, see if you can catch him live in the meantime.
