Lose Faith in Humanity with the DJ Mag Top 100 Results

It is that time of year again. DJ Mag has announced their Top 100 artists of 2016. This is without a doubt now a punch line in the music industry. Voting fraud is rampant, artists known for utilizing ghost producers are still making the Top 10, and of course some of the most talented acts are neglected spots for not playing the game. That being said this year did have some pleasant surprises. Martin Garrix being named the #1 DJ of the year is something we can get behind. Martin has had an incredible year full of new and original productions, he has been a champion of up and comers and made great progress for the scene with his record label, STMPD RCRDS. Are there some artists who should have taken the spot over him?…sure. But at the end of the day this is a much more legitimate pick than years past.

What is better than the results have been DJ reactions. Gareth Emery and his satire side project CVNTS released this short video about their thoughts on the annual poll.

Dillon Francis, known for his outspoken nature and alter egos, has issued a short video on this years poll:

Well at the end of the day there is not much to say about this year's poll. The results are as expected. Check out the full list below and keep an eye out for our LEGITIMATE TOP 100 LIST TOMORROW. Here were out thoughts from last year…
